On September 4, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidder for the tender concerning "Preliminary design of the Main Dining Room of the Athlete Village". The contract was won by  a Joint Venture comprising  of Tokyu Architects & Engineers Inc.

On July 12, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidders for tenders concerning traffic volume surveys at the various Olympic and Paralympic venues. The majority of the tenders were decided in domestic procedures. Survey Research Center Co. Ltd. managed to secure 4 of the 7 contracts under competition.

The contract was won by  Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC. The organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.

Tokyo2020 Tender results: Services for traffics surveys at Olympic venues

On June 23, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidders for three tenders concerning traffic surveys at various Olympic venues. The first two tenders were not published internationally and all were conducted with short lead times. TOCOG did not publish how many bidders took part in the competition, but SURVEY RESEARCH CENTER CO., LTD managed to win two of the contracts, including the one tender internationally.
