EUREKA Globalstars call with Japan (pre-announcement)

Within the GlobalStars initiative of EUREKA and based on mutual interest, Japan will be launching a common call with the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Spain, Canada, Israel and the UK.

Starting in early June, companies from Japan and the abovementioned EUREKA member countries are invited to submit joint project proposals in the research and development of innovative products and applications with a strong market potential.

The call for proposals will be an open call inviting projects from any sector area, except for nuclear and pharmaceutical technologies. Proposing consortia must involve at least one company from Japan and one from the above-mentioned EUREKA countries. For more detailed qualification criteria, see the pre-announcement text.

Call launch: early June
Submission deadline: early September.

Information on the call in Japanese can be found on the NEDO Website. Companies from the above EUREKA countries are recommended to contact their national funding organisations. The call text will be available on the EUREKA Website after the opening of the call.

To inform about the call, the EU-Japan Centrel organised a webinar on 28 April jointly with EUREKA and NEDO. The recording of the webinar and the slides, including contact details for national funding organisations, are available here.
The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) is planning to support partner search for this call throughout the call period from early June to early September.
