Tokyo2020 Tender result: Traffic volume surveys at Olympic venues

On July 12, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidders for tenders concerning traffic volume surveys at the various Olympic and Paralympic venues. The majority of the tenders were decided in domestic procedures. Survey Research Center Co. Ltd. managed to secure 4 of the 7 contracts under competition.

Tokyo2020 Tender result: "Preliminary design of Temporary Overlays VI Asaka Shooting Range

On July 14, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidders for the tender concerning "Preliminary design of Temporary Overlays VI Asaka Shooting Range". The contract was won by  Pacific Consultants Co.

EU and Japan reach agreement in principle on EPA: What to expect for government procurement?

After 4 years of negotiations, EU and Japan have reached an agreement in principle on the main elements of an EU-Japan Economic Partnership agreement on July 6th. The agreement was likely accelerated by the G20 meeting the next day, in a move by both economic giants to show that the age of trade liberalization has not ended with the United States’ withdrawal from TTP in January. 

Tokyo2020 Tender Results: Support services to obtain ISO 20121 certification

On June 30, Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (TOCOG) announced the winning bidders for the tender concerning Support services to obtain ISO 20121 certification". The contract was won by  Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu LLC. The organising committee did not make public how many other companies took part in the competition.
